A Message from ProSearch President and Founder, Ed McKersie on Working Remotely

At ProSearch, we continue our focus and commitment to Maine employers as well as job seekers looking for opportunities with our employer partners. While COVID-19 has challenged all of us to think (and work) differently, our team remains engaged and is actively interviewing candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and IT contract jobs. We have switched to an almost 100% remote team and have found these times have pulled us even closer together.

As a team, we have weekly video meetings that are a mixture of sharing updates about our employers’ needs and check ins on how we are handling our work from home situations. We have made these updates fun, often including our families in the discussions.

During this time, the ProSearch team has stayed busy by completing industry training that often gets pushed to the side when we are busy and have invested in tools to make us even more efficient for our job seekers and employers. Recently, we launched a complete re-brand and opened an office in Auburn. We have been interviewing candidates via phone and video and have shared this technology with hiring managers as needed.

As President, and part of our team of co-owners, I am proud of the way we have rededicated ourselves to building and maintaining long-term relationships with each other and the people we serve.

Maine is a fantastic place to live and work and our team believes we will come out of this even stronger. I wish you, your families, and coworkers a safe and healthy summer. Here’s to better times ahead!

Ed McKersie, President and Founder of ProSearch
