Our Team

Ed Mckersie is the Founder and President of ProSearch. He is also the Founder and an Advisory Board Member of Live and Work in Maine, a statewide initiative launched in November 2015 to increase awareness around career opportunities here in Maine. Ed is a former President of the Human Resources Association of Southern Maine. He also served on the Maine Society of Human Resources Management Council, where he was charged with establishing the Best Places to Work in Maine program. Ed was inducted into the SHRM Maine HR Hall of Fame in 2012. He currently serves on the Boards of Martin’s Point Healthcare, Rippleffect, and various private-sector startups, and is on the leadership team of FocusMaine. Ed was named to the Maine Business Hall of Fame by Junior Achievement of Maine in 2019.  He graduated from Bentley University in 1983 and moved to Maine in 1989.

Dave is responsible for account management, new business development, and ensuring we exceed our clients’ expectations every day. Dave has spent his professional career assisting companies throughout Maine and joined ProSearch in 2009. Dave serves on the state board of Junior Achievement of Maine, the Maine State Human Resources Council, as well as on the Board of ProSeach as the employee representative of the firm’s ESOP.

Outside of work, Dave, his wife Jen, and their three 20-something children enjoy spending as much time as they can boating and fishing on Casco Bay or exploring the backroads of Maine with the top off of their Jeep.

Mary is a Maine native joining the ProSearch team in 2004. She currently leads the Recruiting Services Team. Acting as a trusted consultant for her clients, Mary works to recruit at all levels to meet her clients’ staffing needs searching locally and nationally for top talent. She previously worked for UNUM and built her foundation in recruiting as a Corporate Recruiter. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time enjoying the Lakes Region of Maine with her husband, kids, pups, and large local family.

Rhiana is a Portland native with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University in New York. She previously worked at Pierce Promotions as Manager of the Recruitment Department and at Wright Express (now WEX) as a Human Resource Specialist. At ProSearch, Rhiana is responsible for managing the Temporary Staffing Services Team and works closely with employer partners to match and place temporary and temp-to-hire candidates on their team. Rhiana is the co-chair of the executive board at St. Brigid School in Portland, as well as an active volunteer.

In her spare time, she loves rooting for the Buffalo Bills with her family and playing with her pup, Beasley. Rhiana has been a ProSearcher since 2003.

A Maine native, Todd graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington and has been in the recruiting industry since 2003. Todd is the Founder and President of B.A.S.S.A (Beaver Alum Supporting Student-Athletes), a nonprofit formed to provide scholarships for UMF student-athletes and financial support to athletic programs. Actively involved since 2007, Todd has been the Chair of USM Corporate Partners, is on the USM Foundation Board, and is also the founder of the IT Contractor Networking Group of Maine. Todd lives in Cumberland with his wife, two sons, and their dogs Josie and Dozer.  Todd has been a ProSearcher since 2005.

Chad joined ProSearch in 2023, bringing 11 years of IT recruiting experience guiding both the candidate and client/company side of the search process, ranging from Help Desk to “C-Level”.  His diverse professional background prior to recruiting and after earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University included roles as a Project Engineer for a global commercial equipment manufacturer, an Operations Manager for a Seacoast NH service provider, and Commercial Sales responsible for Eastern New England, all of which contributed to a foundation of strong regional connections across many industries.

Chad lives in Seacoast New Hampshire where he cherishes the feeling and reward of a good run outside in each of New England’s seasons.

Sarah works with local and national candidates to find the right resource for our clients. She develops innovative strategies using research in the latest recruitment trends to provide recommendations to management on how to optimize and integrate these trends into daily practice, resulting in high-quality service to both our candidates and clients. Sarah has been an IT Recruiter for more than 24 years in Connecticut and Maine, servicing clients such as CIGNA, Fleet Financial, IDEXX Laboratories, ING, L.L.Bean, Maine Medical Center, MassMutual, Pfizer, Puritan Medical Products, State of Connecticut, State of Maine, Unum, and Wex among many others. She is successful in making placements at all levels from Helpdesk Support to CIOs.

A Maine native, Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford. She is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement. Sarah has been a ProSearcher since 2004.

Brenon joined our team in 2019 and currently leads the IT Consulting recruiting team. Brenon brought a wealth of experience and a career-long background in the IT Staffing Industry to ProSearch. After graduating from the University of Vermont as a Vermont native, Brenon started his career in 2011 with a start-up IT staffing firm. He quickly established himself as a top-producing individual contributor and went on to manage and lead efforts for the IT Contract division.

With family ties to Maine and a love for the ocean, Brenon and his growing family have recently moved to Maine and reside in Kennebunk.

Dana joined ProSearch in 2013 as a recruiter and handles a wide range of local, regional, and national search assignments. Prior to joining our team, Dana spent time as a Corporate Recruiter for a fast-growing advertising agency and as a Recruiter-Researcher for a prominent Maine-based recruiting firm. Dana graduated from Keene State College and has been a ProSearcher since 2013.

Tim joined our team to recruit IT Contract talent on a national basis for our clients in 2018. A graduate of Plymouth State University in New Hampshire and a Massachusetts native, Tim has worked in the staffing industry since 2013.

Tim and his wife stay active by raising their two boys and enjoying the great outdoors here in Maine!

Andrew leads sourcing projects for all three teams at ProSearch, researching internal and external sources to identify and engage with job seekers for our clients. Prior to joining our team, he spent four years as a Talent Sourcing Specialist for a national staffing firm.  A graduate of Western Michigan University, Andrew has been a ProSearcher since 2021.

When he isn’t sourcing candidates, Andrew’s favorite activities include spending time with family, watching the Detroit Pistons, and bicycling. He also enjoys Maine lobster… just ask his coworkers!

Tom joined ProSearch in 2023. He brings with him over 16 years of recruiting experience, starting in healthcare before spending the last 11+ years working with candidates in the IT industry. A New Hampshire native, Tom earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 2006.

Outside of work, Tom is likely to be found on the ski slopes or beaches of New England with his wife and kids.

Maranda is responsible for supporting our staffing efforts and handles all office support functions for our team.  She also manages our payroll and employee onboarding.  Maranda holds a BS from the University of Vermont and has several years of related office support and database management experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.  ProSearcher since 2019!

When not juggling all the balls that we throw at her at ProSearch, Maranda enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family!

Matt joined the team in 2022 and works on the temporary staffing team at ProSearch helping to identify new candidates, reaching out to engage with candidates, and assisting in their job search.

Matt is a Maine native and graduated in 2018 from Lafayette College where he majored in German and Economics. Prior to ProSearch, he worked at a local Portland business management consulting group and a nationwide bank within their loss mitigation department. When he’s not helping coordinate candidates with recruiters, Matt enjoys waterskiing in the summer, hitting the slopes in the winter, and rooting for the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics!
