Receptionist
Location: Portland, ME
Job Type: Temp to Hire, Full-Time | On-site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rate of pay: $20/hr.
About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and customers, provide in-person and phone support, and handle basic data entry and order processing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys structured routines.
Responsibilities
- Greeting all walk-in guests, customers, vendors, and tenants and communicating with employees where necessary.
- Data entry and order processing
- Answering phones and providing customer service and order updates
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, bank teller, or customer service role
- Comfortable using basic office software (email, MS Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
