ProSearch Giveback Program Spring 2021

At ProSearch, we’ve always had a strong sense of community and know the value that community involvement brings. In 2008, the ProSearch Giveback program was founded and has contributed over $100,000 to Maine non-profits and charities. Each quarter, ProSearch makes a donation based on the total number of hours our temporary and contract employees work to support our local community. In the first quarter of 2021, ProSearch chose to donate to two amazing charities, The Center for Grieving Children and The Locker Project.  ProSearch has always been a family-centric company with many of us having children and know that both of these organizations help benefit our community in more ways than we can imagine.

The Center for Grieving Children was founded in 1987 and serves more than 4,000 children, teens, families, and young adults annually by providing a safe space, loving peer group, outreach, and education to grieving families in our community and no cost to the families. We never want to imagine the loss of a loved one but are thankful for the volunteers and staff at The Center for Grieving Children who provide comfort for those who need it. We also chose to donate to The Locker Project. The Locker Project partners with many local businesses, farmers, and community gardeners to help distribute food to more than 30 schools in the Greater-Portland area to ensure no child goes hungry. The Locker Project helps fight Maine’s high child hunger rate by helping ensure food security for children by providing class-time snacks and healthy foods that they can take home at night, for the weekends, and during school breaks. We are proud to be able to help our community and thankful for these organizations who make a difference in Maine.
