The Director of Advertising will spearhead the sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
The Director of Advertising will play a pivotal role in managing the sales team to achieve revenue goals across various platforms, including digital products, sponsorships/events, and print products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Setting and achieving revenue goals, both short and long-term, through innovative sales strategies.
- Hiring, training, and motivating the sales team to excel in their roles.
- Providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns and special initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with industry influencers, strategic partners, and advertisers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common business goals and resolve issues efficiently.
- Utilizing in-depth knowledge of sales techniques and financial principles to drive results.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and management in a media, publishing or advertising agency environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in digital media and technology to support sales efforts.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-sensitive environment and maintain a positive outlook.
