Title: Applications Developer

Location: Onsite in Jackson, Mississippi

Overview: Seeking a skilled Applications Developer to join our client's team in maintaining and enhancing enterprise financial and HR systems. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to critical projects in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in design sessions, code development, testing, and maintenance of new applications.
  • Assist in Microsoft SharePoint administration and related projects.
  • Provide documentation and training to team members to ensure project support tools are readily available.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve user issues promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct system testing to validate fixes/patches and prevent system issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7-10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on applications development and support.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and adeptness in a team environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with clear verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, JavaScript, .NET Framework, Oracle Forms, Redact.js, and SQL programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, PowerBI, and SSRS.
  • Understanding of Accounting and HR processes, including invoices, purchase requisitions, and payroll processing.

Note: This is an onsite opportunity in Jackson, Mississippi. Remote work or hybrid arrangements are not considered.
