New Year 2021 Update from ProSearch’s President

To say 2020 was a challenge would be an understatement. As we begin a new year, I want to thank my fellow Employee Owners for the great way they have adapted to working remotely. While our activity levels were down in the second and third quarter of 2020 due to COVID, the ProSearch team stayed engaged and focused, and by the fourth quarter, our activity levels were at pre-COVID levels across the board.

I’d also like to thank the continued trust our employer partners have placed in our team. Our focus on Maine employers and their staffing and recruiting needs put us in a unique position to deliver during these uncertain times. We continued to provide temporary and contract employees – with many working remotely, as well as partnered to recruit key people for our clients. It has been reassuring to watch our relationships with Maine employers grow as we worked through a constantly changing employment environment together.

Lastly, I’d like to thank our temporary and contract employees. We have a special bond with the people who are employed by us, but work for our clients every day. These folks remained flexible as the rules for on-site or remote work changed almost every day during the worst of COVID. Job responsibilities often changed at a moment’s notice, as did protocols for reporting to work. It has been heartening to witness the trust and loyalty these employees have placed with ProSearch.

Here’s to an improving employment market in 2021!
