Production Print Service Technician
Location: Minnetonka, MNJob Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair high-volume production print and complex copier equipment at client sites within a designated territory.
- Deliver timely, courteous, and cost-effective service that ensures a high level of client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies within your vehicle; participate in periodic physical inventory checks.
- Stay current with technical training and continuously build your knowledge of new equipment and technologies.
- Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and service standards.
- Accurately complete documentation for service calls, including time entry, dispatching, and closing out tickets.
- Attend company and departmental meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior direct service experience with Sharp, Canon, HP, or Konica equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (a company vehicle is provided).
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
