Job Summary:
Manage and process employee payroll efficiently, ensuring accuracy in wages, taxes, and benefits. Handle payroll-related inquiries, maintain compliance with laws, and support financial and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify payroll (weekly, biweekly, monthly).
- Review employee timesheets and ensure accuracy.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Manage direct deposits, tax filings, and compliance.
- Maintain employee payroll records and update information.
- Oversee payroll software and electronic timekeeping.
- Process Certified Payroll reports and year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099).
- Assist with audits, expenses, and employee certifications.
- Provide general office support, including answering calls and booking accommodations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, and accounting systems.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- 3+ years of payroll experience.
- Experience with Certified Payroll and the Davis-Bacon Act preferred.
