UAT Analyst – Remote

Our North Dakota based client is seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst to support testing and implementation for a Self-Service Portal and Combined Eligibility System. This role involves developing and executing test cases, ensuring system modifications align with business requirements.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies with development teams and stakeholders to address program enhancements or defects.
  • Collaborate with policy and business analyst leads to determine effective testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a requirements traceability matrix, execute test cases, and document results.
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and functional testers to prioritize and resolve defects.
  • Monitor UAT progress, eliminate obstacles, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to assist staff and management with application-related inquiries.
  • Participate in implementation activities, supporting cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience working on large-scale, complex projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in test case creation, technical analysis, and system interface expertise.
  • Strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to summarize UAT status, track execution metrics, and escalate issues to management as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with software quality testing on an Integrated Eligibility System (IES) for public assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF.
  • Previous experience with SPACES.
