Provider Service Representative – Portland, ME
Responds to provider inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, plan coverage, claims, billing, and payments for Medicare programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate information via phone, email, and electronic inquiries.
- Educate providers on policies, procedures, and self-service options.
- Resolve inquiries within established timeframes, collaborating with internal teams when necessary.
- Stay informed on policies and updates.
- Document all inquiries with detailed and accurate information.
- Build strong provider relationships through excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of customer service experience (medical billing preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and handle stressful situations.
Immediate need. $19-23/hr. Monday-Friday, 8-4:30.
