Senior Business Analyst

Remote

Our client, based in North Dakota, is seeking a Business Analyst to support software development enhancements for program applications. This role requires expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, usability, and testing to ensure software solutions align with business needs and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to document business processes, data flows, and requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with technical teams.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios to validate system functionality.
  • Assist in creating end-user training materials and documentation.
  • Monitor system changes during the stabilization phase of each release.
  • Track and analyze process improvement outcomes using data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile SDLC methodologies and documentation procedures.
  • 3+ years of experience in impact analysis and prioritization for development teams.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with data transfer, integration, and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in web portal development and UI/UX design.
  • 5+ years of expertise in SNAP, TANF, or other economic assistance programs.
  • 8+ years working on large-scale, complex projects.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
