This position will report into the Sr. eCommerce Manager. The Web Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for overseeing validation activities across various projects and deployments as well as developing the test plans, scripts, documentation, etc. associated with these efforts. This role will work directly with the Project Manager, team leads and business units to identify and manage the QA or UAT efforts associated with the project or initiative, and then with the Web Quality Assurance Analysts to execute the testing. As the Web Quality Assurance Lead, the candidate will be expected to provide guidance and subject matter expertise to the team regarding testing methodologies and processes, and to deliver high business value. The following functions are the responsibility of the Web Quality Assurance Lead, and this individual may be asked to solely perform these functions or may choose to delegate some of these functions to other members of the Web Quality Assurance team. This role is ultimately responsible for all testing activities (QA, UAT, etc.).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as key point of contact for all internal Web Quality Assurance aspects of projects/site releases
  • Create and maintain test cases, test plans, relevant documentation and produce detailed bug reports, including progress statistics
  • Test front end of monthly code deployments, and related sites, in areas of content, user experience, search, commerce and product feeds
  • Support Web QA/UAT testing resources internally
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure a mutual understanding of required testing, tests performed and their results
  • Groom/manage bug ticketing as result of testing
  • Assist with testing documentation as required
  • Improve upon current testing protocols by leading automation efforts in conjunction with IT
  • Attend regular stand-up and project relevant meetings to provide updates on testing activities



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, engineering or IT
  • 6+ years’ work experience as a professional? Web Quality Assurance Lead / Coordinator, leading Web QA/UAT efforts in executing created test plans and development requests
  • Proficient in building out test plans, particularly for ecommerce and related integrations
  • Understanding of, and experience with, all areas of web development and related processes, including web-related integrations with ERP and CRM systems
  • Experience using Sitecore, Salesforce, Coveo, SAP or SAP Commerce, or similar web applications
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills, in addition to the ability to multi-task, prioritize and participate in multiple projects, simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for consistency
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Experience with bug tracking/ticketing software (Jira preferred)
  • Knowledge of Web QA methodologies to ensure the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency
  • Experience with setup and use of automated test tools (Selenium or Tosca preferred)
