Our client, a manufacturer in Westbrook, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to add to their growing team.

The Sales Rep will be responsible for creating sales strategies that align with the company’s weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas. They are looking for a strong networker who can use effective cold calling and email techniques to generate leads and build relationships. 

The Sales Rep will be calling on existing clients and new prospects, always providing excellent customer services before, during, and after the sale to ensure retention and loyalty to the company's brand. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct presentations for potential and existing customers
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
  • Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
  • Develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Promptly submit customers’ sales orders to the appropriate department for processing and production scheduling
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer loyalty
  • Expand brand image by attending Industry Conferences and Conventions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years in B2B sales with a proven track record of continued revenue growth.
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM- HUBSPOT
  • Personal integrity
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30% of the time

 

Successful candidates will have a strong sales aptitude, proven skills, and a good work ethic. 

Compensation will include a base salary plus commission and full benefits.
