The Supply Chain Manager leads many coordinated efforts related to supply planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure supply, quality, and cost competitiveness. The position reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Creates demand forecasts, incorporating inputs inclusive of operating policies, historical data, and recent customer and market intelligence.  
  • Develops forecasts for product tests, events, and core items.  
  • Monitor supply and inventory levels of manufacturer and distributor.  
  • Monitor distributor contract compliance, quality, and service key performance indicators, that lead to action plans that drive continuous improvement.  
  • Ensure franchisee, supplier, and distribution center lines of communication are continuous.  
  • Conduct root cause analysis on low or high stock planning exceptions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve, preventing supply gaps or waste.  
  • Escalate supply issues to leadership in a timely manner while providing recommendations to optimize inventory levels.  
  • Organize information concisely to present in a way that leaders and supply chain partners can understand and use in decision making.  
  • Monitor and report performance against company and supply chain objectives.  
  • Develops production and inventory management plans to support the end-to-end management on category items (Includes Limited Time Offers).  
  • Responsible for creating optimized supply plan and related contingencies.  
  • Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve supply capabilities, capacity, cost, inventory, and service level performance.  
  • Required to work with different departments within the organization on both collecting data and then utilizing it in a demand plan.  
  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.  
  • Coordinate post event process and documentation to record areas of improvement, measure performance and identify key learnings.  
  • Build successful relationships with key stakeholders – internal and external – to streamline supply chain operations.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field required.  
  • Minimum two years of experience in supply chain required.  
  • Proven track record of success in planning, logistics, and distribution.  
  • Prior experience in the food services industry is a plus.  
  • Proven success as an effective communicator throughout the organization and across multi-level personnel both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and maintain a high attention to detail.
