Our client, an exciting, U.S. health-technology start-up is seeking a sales-driven entrepreneur for a new Director of Sales role. Although new to the U.S., the company is bringing a proven technology from Europe and Australia here to the states.The Director of Sales will be part of the founding-team and join in on an exciting journey. The Sales Director would be leading the charge to introduce, an automated, intelligent messaging SaaS platform used for clinical practices to improve health outcomes and gain efficiency by extending care outside of visits.
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for closing new business, helping build up the marketing function, and then building a sales team to lead. You will be working closely with the CEO (based in Maine) as well as with the sales and marketing professionals established within the UK and Australia.
The Director of Sales will:
-Drive lead generation
– Work with marketing to help design campaigns and sales collateral
– Support outbound campaigns
– Attend events and network to source leads
– Run the sales process and manage the pipeline
– Deliver sales presentations in person and online to stakeholders – ranging from Clinical Team Leaders to GPs and senior directors in NHS organizations
– Deliver demos with support from Pre-Sales team
– Actively manage sales’ pipeline to deal closing and go-live
– Achieve set sales’ budgets and other OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial mindset, enjoy the start-up buzz and building from scratch. Must have experience selling to healthcare organizations in New England; it does not have to be software but should be relatively complex solutions or services with multiple stakeholders.
Must be a strong hunter with at least 4 years of experience selling/being quota carrying. Ideal experience selling contract solutions with average contract value greater than $10k. Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills – online and in person.
Your home base can be anywhere in New England, yet with the ability to be in Maine frequently to be close to the CEO for meetings and strategic planning.
Compensation will include a base salary, commission, and possible equity.
